Expansive Jupiter Takes the Lead

The BIG news this week is that Jupiter has now completed its closing square dance to Saturn which started last August. There has been at times extreme pendulum swings, first this way and then that with lots of back and forth since August.
Finally now as Jupiter begins to close in on Saturn over the next four years the amount of expansive change will increase and the restriction of Saturn will be under the control of Jupiter.
Especially with Saturn now Retrograde and Jupiter now Direct and getting up to speed by the first week of June, plus the two rare Sagittarius Full Moon’s (ruled by Jupiter) occurring this month, all signal an influx of robust new energy being unleashed. Fresh new horizons dawn over the summer months for you. Ready – Set – Go!
The closing square between Jupiter and Saturn leads to the Great Conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn on May 31, 2020 in the sign of Aquarius. The Great Conjunction occurs every 18-20 years. The last Great Conjunction happened on May 31, 2000.
Conjunctions are seed points for new beginnings. You are completing a 20 year cycle that you began in the Spring of 2000. Think back to start of the millennium what has transpired for you since then. The next few years bring completion of something you started back around the start of the millennium and an overlapping new beginning.
Mercury is now Direct and picking up speed and will be out of it’s retrograde shadow on June 7th when it reaches 23º Taurus, the degree it went retrograde the end of April. Miscommunications and connections of all kinds flow more easily, adjustments in your attitude have taken place and you feel free to move forward. Your money and financials generally flow more easily now.
On May 29th we have the Pisces Waning Quarter Moon. It’s time to drop IT whatever IT is in the house where Pisces is located in your chart. There can be themes that surface now for purging. Old patterns related to Pisces issues of faith and trust in life can surface for release. The Gemini new moon will help you birth new thoughts and ideas in a week’s time, so let it go and make room for the new and updated. Life is happening for you!
On May 30th you’ll especially feel a boost in your mental powers and ability to make powerful connections as Mercury at 16º Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn.
From June 1st to the 6th Venus conjuncts the Sun, opposes Saturn and Squares Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter in Virgo. The degrees activated most at this time are 9 to 15 degrees for all the signs if you have personal planets at these degrees you’ll feel this build up of tension and pressure for change. The Grand Cross strengthens and brings courage to overcome seeming insurmountable obstacles. Surrender to the power of grace that’s acting for you now to bring much needed change to break you free.
The Gemini New Moon next Saturday on June 4th is flavored by this Grand Mutable Cross. There’s flexibility and adaptability available for making constructive and creative changes.
We have only one long Void of Course Moon this week on Wednesday, June 1st from 8:42am until 7:46pm PT when the Moon moves from the sign Aries to Taurus.
