As I see it the celestial events that started last fall have all been moving toward this new beginning for you in the area of your life where the Cancer New Moon is located in your personal astrology chart.
So look to the house where Cancer is located in your personal astrology chart to see what area of your life is being most affected and about to get a tremendous boost of energy for a completely fresh new start. Something stellar is about to happen for you, so pay attention and prepare to make the most of the opportunities that will present themselves.
The area where Cancer is located has been a hot bed of dramatic shifts and changes over the past few years when unexpected events became common place occurrences in this area of your life. Cancer energy loves predictability. Family traditions, nurturance and security are all Cancer priorities.
Cancer rules the fourth house of home, family, roots and the self. Look to see if you have any personal planets (Sun (Will/life force/etheric body), Moon (emotional and security needs, astral body), Mercury (lower mind/attitudes/mental patterns), Venus (personal love interests/attractions) or Mars (ego drives/motive/drive/ambition/action) located in your fourth house. Any personal in the sign of Cancer are about to get recharged with fresh new life. Where Cancer (or 4th house) is located is where you’re about to experience fresh new energies for a rebirth.

Astro Energy Highlights
On June 26th leading up to the Cancer New Moon Jupiter (the planet of good fortune that expands whatever it touches) is at the peak of its exact trine to Pluto in Capricorn. Jupiter is still conjunct the North Node at 16º Virgo. Pluto represents incredible power and dynamism for transformation and healing and the North Node is your life path direction at this time coming into clear focus. There’s incredible power available to you for your expansion and clarity of your life direction.
On June 26th also Mercury at 24º Gemini (the sign of communication which Mercury is its natural ruler) is Sextile to Uranus in Aries. This represents breakthrough communication happening for you.
On June 27th the day of the 6º 30’ Aries Quarter Waning Moon the planet Venus (your personal love planet representing what you love and what attracts you most) at 11º Cancer is Trine to Neptune in Pisces. Neptune is outer planet and gives you the power to transcend limited earth bound beliefs. Neptune represents Cosmic Love and its trine aspect to Venus represents Powerful Heart Openings and Gifts of Love are now available to you.
On June 29th Mercury enters Cancer until July 13th when it enters Leo. The water element of Cancer is a great conductor of the electrical energies of Mercury, but there can be either an excess of electricity or a shortage and given Mercury erratic nature this can be a volatile or unsettled time in your home area or the area of your life where Cancer is located. It depends upon a number of variables. Generally this can be a time when you can make sudden changes in your home that can be for the better. Watch for being impulsive especially towards the end of Mercury’s transit through Cancer when Mercury will oppose Pluto, square Jupiter and Uranus.
On June 29th also Mars stations Direct at 23º Scorpio this marks the end of the review of the area of your life where Scorpio is in your chart which can also relate to 8th house matters as Scorpio’s natural placement in the zodiac is the 8th house. Power, control and money issues have all been under examination. Reviewing your motives and other people’s motives in relationship to you and their impact upon you have all been under re-examination. There’s been a cutting away of old motivating factors. Maturation in the way you take action and take care of yourself has been underway since Mars station retrograde. Now as Mars stations Direct you’ll implement your new updated ways of taking action that are more mature and empowered.
On June 29th also Juno Stations Direct. Juno has been Retrograde mostly in sign of Scorpio since the first of March 2016. Juno represents the Divine consort, making contracts and relationship commitments. She’s the wife of Jupiter in the Roman pantheon, or Hera and Zeus in Greek mythology.
As Scorpio ruled by Pluto and Mars represents intimacy and power relations with others you’ve been reviewing the kinds of commitments you have with others and if they are mutual and truly serve both of you. You’ve been reviewing the kinds of relationships you want and what you will and will not put up with from others whether people, places, or situations. Juno at its core represents your commitment to yourself, your inner marriage, Carl Jung called it the Holy Wedding or conjunction (coniunctio).
Old contracts and agreements may have dissolved during this time, or making/keeping agreements has felt challenged. Now new relationships, contracts and agreements with others can come in as the period of letting go and dissolution of old ways of relating and making contracts and agreements is finished. This will be felt especially at and after the Cancer New Moon on July 4th.
Late in the day on June 30th Venus at 16º Cancer will oppose Pluto in Capricorn. Oppositions always represent illumination when something that has been hidden or unconscious suddenly breaks through into the light of day. Oppositions although initially can be felt as painful, or a power struggle within yourself (and often manifest as a struggle with something or someone outside yourself) are ultimately about freeing you from the grips of fear when shadow elements and lost parts of yourself can be revealed and integrated for greater wholeness and freedom. Venus and Pluto can also represent an instant love attraction that can feel intense and compulsive.
On July 1st we end the week with Venus at 17º Cancer Sextile Jupiter in Virgo. What this looks like depends upon what houses are highlighted, but the Sextile represents an opportunity for expansion of something you love related to the home that’s of a practical nature, could be related to a health issue of some sort whether emotional, mental, physical or financial.
Void of Course Moon Periods
These are great periods for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
On June 26th we have a very brief Void of Course Moon when the Pisces Moon goes Void of Course at 12:55pm PT until it enters the sign of Aries at :08 am PT.
On June 29th we have another short Void of Course Moon from :46am PT when the Aries Moon goes Void of Course until it enters Taurus at 3:03am PT.
On June 30th we have our longest Void of Course Moon when the Taurus Moon goes Void of Course at 5:19pm PT until it enters the sign Gemini at 4:44am PT.
