day-of-the-dead-pixabay-public-domain-1868836_1920This Week’s General Astrology Forecast

The week starts off with the Moon in freedom loving and visionary Aquarius.

It’s the perfect week for communing with your ancestors and the spiritual worlds.

It’s also a potent week of illumination and manifesting something you love in the world.

For insights about how the 12º Taurus Super Full Moon on November 3rd may be affecting you look in your natal chart to see what house Taurus is located.

Then check ‘Meaning of the 12 Houses’ below to find out more about how the Taurus Moon may be affecting you. If you don’t know what house the Taurus moon is located in your natal chart look at the meaning of the  house (2nd) the natural house Taurus rules to get insights.

This is our first Super Full Moon of 2017 when the moon is closer to the earth than at other times during the year. Last November 14, 2016 was the closest Super Moon to the earth since 1948. There will not be another Super Moon closer to the earth until 2034. The affects of the Full Moon are multiplied and intensified the closer the moon is to the sun.

I recommend the essential oils:

Astro Energy Report Highlights

planets-earth-solar-system-pixabay-public-domain-1068198_1280All dates are at exact peak of intensity when energies begin to culminate and wane. If you have personal planets or points within 1-2º orb of an aspect that’s occurring between planets then you will feel that celestial even more strongly.

Four Days of Celebration

Check out my blog, Best Day of the Dead Celebration Ritual Using Altars, Essential Oils & Foods.

On October 31st – We have Halloween and a 9+ hour Void of Course Moon starting in the afternoon until almost Midnight (PT). Bewitching hours for sure as you feel the lull of between times. You are not here, nor there, or anywhere in particular. When the Moon is Void of Course you can actually feel like your life is on hold or that eerie feeling of being in limbo.

On October 31st – Samhain (pronounced “sow-in”). From evening until the evening of November 1st Samhain is celebrated. One of the high holy days in the Gaelic tradition Samhain celebrates the end of summer and the beginning of winter. Traditionally festive gatherings of the clans were held to feast with bonfires and other customs. One custom was for couples to hold hands and leap over the bonfire signifying their commitment as a couple and symbolic of marriage.

On November 1st – All Saints Day. The Moon entered Aries at 11:43 pm PT on October 31st, but doesn’t make contact with a planet until today, November 1st when it makes its first contact with another planetary body as it Opposes Mars at 6º Libra. Traditionally All Saints Day is a day of remembering and celebrating all those beings who have attained Sainthood or Ascended Masters.

On November 2nd – All Soul’s Day. When we celebrate our departed loved ones.

October 31st through November 2nd are celebrated as ‘Day of the Dead’ in Mexico or Dia de los Muertos. Though a traditional Mexican holiday this period of time every year is celebrated by many cultures around the world as a time to commune with those in the spirit worlds and to remember one’s ancestors and departed loved ones. Each culture has its own distinct customs and celebration.

See Day of Dead Blog, Day of Dead Celebration Essential Oils, Foods & Rituals to Use.

On November 3rd – We have a 12º Taurus Full Moon, exact at 10:23pm PT. The Taurus Full Moon is exactly Opposite Jupiter (Conjunct Sun) in Scorpio, expanding this illumination and celebration occurring now. The Taurus Full Moon is Sextile to Neptune. And the Sun Conjunct Jupiter is Trine to Neptune. Wow! This spells dreams coming true for you! Especially if the Taurus Full Moon is within 1-3º of one or more of your personal planets or points. The Taurus Moon is always a manifesting Moon, things manifest for you (or someone you know) in the Earthly realm at the time of a Taurus Full Moon. The Taurus Moon is also within a 5º orb of Trine to Pluto in Capricorn which lends force and power and longevity to this manifestation.

On November 3rd – Venus (the lower octave of the Neptunian love vibe) at 24º Libra is Sextile Saturn in Sagittarius which is an opportunity to give structure to something you love. There’s longevity and staying power in this opportunity coming into form.

On November 3rd – Venus in Libra is also Opposite Uranus in Aries which of course is Trine to Saturn in Sagittarius. This really awakens you to new possibility for a structure that frees you and opens up your horizons to new adventures.

VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS

The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.

Void of Course Moon periods are great for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.

Void of Course Moon Phases are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.

For your New and Full Moon Rituals make sure the Moon is not Void of Course and in aspect to another celestial body when doing your ritual for best results.

  1. On October 29th we have a 7+ hour Void of Course Moon from 9:22am PT to 4:46pm PT when the Aquarius Moon enters the sign of Pisces.
  2. On October 31st we have a 9+ hour Void of Course Moon from 2:08am PT to 11:43pm PT on November 1st when the Pisces Moon enters the sign of Aries.
  3. On November 2nd we have a 6+ hour Void of Course Moon from 8:03pm PT to 2:46am PT on November 3rd when the Aries Moon enters the sign of Taurus.
