This is the fifth in this series of articles about holistic health techniques to bring balance and calm when suffering from symptoms of overwhelm. There are two more blogs to come in this series.
Tangerine (Citrus reticulate) – Cold pressed from fresh peel. Note: also sometimes referred to as Satsuma.
Tangerine is often interchanged with Mandarin oil. However, for me the scent of these two oils is really quite distinctly different. Tangerine oil is calming and restorative with a high note that is playful, refreshing and lifting. Whereas Mandarin has a lower note that is softly soothing, more grounding and feminine, without any noticeable lift and less complexity.

Now I’d like to introduce you to an exploration of the meaning and purpose of your 9th Earth Star Chakra.
In this series of blogs about the 9th Chakra you’ll also learn a variety of chakra attunements you can practice for balancing and healing your 9th Earth Star Chakra.
The 9th (Earth Star) Chakra is located about 6 inches beneath your feet. This is the portal that connects you with Gaia, Mother Earth.
Learning to use your breath to cleanse your energy system is your first step for attuning to the clearing, balancing and charging of your Chakras.
Your daily thoughts of judgment and emotional reactions to life situations, as well as environmental toxins create a build up of toxic residue which you are learning to cleanse from your emotional based energy system.
Pranic Rainbow Light Breathing Meditation
Sit comfortably with your spine erect, close your eyes and begin to focus on your breath. Inhale slowly and allow your lungs to fill with oxygen. Visualize the oxygen you breathe being filled with the rainbow light of prana, or life force energy.
You naturally manifest your desires into material reality through your chakras. You do this automatically at the non-conscious level.
There are two currents or streams of life force energy flowing through you, a manifesting current and a liberating current.
The manifesting current flows downward through the center of your being; it descends through the crown of your head and out through the soles of your feet and deep into the Earth.
Kundalini comes from the word kundala which means coiled. Kundalini is the name Yogis gave to awakening to your full potential, and is depicted as a snake, coiled and slumbering at your base or root chakra.
The base or root chakra is also called the Sushumna Nadi. Nadi is another Sanskrit word used for chakra. There are thousands of chakra gateway energy points (nadis) within your BodyMind energy system.
These nadis or chakra gateway points become clogged as you become resistant to life force energy. You become resistant to channeling life force energy primarily out of your limited lower mind’s judgment and fear of the unknown. As you shut down to experiencing the joy of just being physically alive and present in this moment you become more limited in your experiences.
This is the third in a series of articles about holistic health techniques I’ve used, successfully to effectively bring balance and calm when you suffer from symptoms of overwhelm.
Lavender ( Lavandula angustifolia ) is one of the most well loved and used essential oils in aromatherapy. Lavender is called the universal healer as it has a broad chemical profile and thus a broad application.
The primary chemical property in Lavender oil is Ester. Grown and distilled at higher altitudes the oil has even higher concentrations of plant Esters up to 54%.
What are chakra energy blocks? A chakra that is blocked means that there is a tendency to channel your life force energy through a particular plane of consciousness whether in chronic excess or closed in avoidance.
Either type of block results in a conditioned pattern of action and response that creates imbalance in the flow of prana, and chronic conditions of dis-ease.
A Closed Chakra represents a chronic pattern of avoidance of certain energies and life experiences.
What are Chakras? Chakra is a Sanskrit term meaning “disc,” or “spinning wheel of energy,” or “wheel of light.” Spiral vortices of energy that look similar in shape to our Milky Way Galaxy your chakras are spinning wheels of energy that connect your physical life form with your transpersonal Divine Nature.
Chakras are windows of perception for organizing the various dimensions of reality, and act much like energetic maps or blueprints. It is at your Chakras that Prana is organized in its flow through your physical BodyMind. Chakras are portals for perceiving, organizing and transmitting vibration or Prana, life force energy.
According to Dr. Candace Pert a renowned neuroscientist, “we (humans) are quite literally hard wired for bliss.” Candace Pert’s extraordinary career began in 1972 with her startling discovery of the opiate receptor. In her book, “Molecules of Emotion,” Dr. Pert, a professed Chakra buff, maps the dynamic network between emotions, the body and the mind.
What is a Rainbow Bridge? Rainbow Bridge is a commonly used term in esoteric or metaphysical healing for the circuits of energy that connect your physical life form with your transpersonal Divine Nature.
These energy circuits can create a lot of electric “buzz” in your physical, mental and emotional bodies. It’s like feedback when your energy circuits are overloaded or when you’re channeling a super charged load of life force energy, or particles of information.
Have you ever experienced these energy circuits of life force energy? If so, tell me about it!
