HELICRYSUM ( Helichrysum italicum ssp serotinum ) Italian Everlasting, Immortelle is the most powerful healing and regenerative essential oil in aromatherapy. BLUE TANSY (Tanacetum anuum ) Moroccan Blue Chamomile's rapid and powerful anti-inflammatory action immediately calms the nervous system and associated muscles, ligaments and tendons. Use Blue Tansy to relieve pain from skin burns and to soothe nervous tension and stress! Blue Tansy is an excellent first aid remedy for inflamed burn damaged skin.
 

LAVENDER ( Lavendula augustifolia ) Lavender is the most commonly used essential oil and the absolute classic oil for treating burns! Apply Lavender immediately to burns to prevent blistering, or scarring, as well as speed healing of wounds as it stimulates cellular repair and regeneration. During the early 20th century, French chemist Rene-Maurice Gattefosse became interested in the use of essential oils for their medicinal properties. While working Gattefosse accidentally burned his arm very badly! On reflex Gattefosse plunged his burned arm into a large vat of lavender oil. His burn healed rapidly and there was absolutely NO scarring of tissue! Gattefosse is credited with coining the term "aromatherapy" in his 1928 article supporting the use of essential oils in their whole, pure and unadulterated state.

ROSE (TRUE) OTTO ( Rosa damascena ) Since antiquity physicians have extolled the virtues of Rose oil for its healing properties! Rose oil is excellent for skin care and is harmonizing for ALL skin types. Rosa damascena's skin nourishing action makes it a useful addition to any burn care formula. Its cooling effect is ideal for soothing sensitive or inflamed cell tissue. Rose oil's cleansing, moisturizing and tonic properties make it excellent choice for smoothing and softening scars. Use Rose oil to fade old burn scars, blend with Helichrysum to enhance this effect!
