DIRECTIONS ON LABEL: Dispense 1-3 drops of pure essential
oil on a tissue or cotton ball and inhale, using a slow and
rhythmic breath, for 30-60 seconds.

KEY ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN SLEEPEZZ:

YLANG YLANG III ( Cananga odorata ) - the last fraction collected during the last hours of distillation, is a slightly thicker, more earthy and less sweet oil, and is composed almost entirely of sesquiterpenes. Sesquiterpenes give Ylang Ylang its powerfully antispasmodic and sedative properties. Inhalation of Ylang Ylang is useful for dispelling fear and anxiety, and the first essential oil to consider when needing help for regulating and balancing the nervous system. Ylang Ylang helps to deepen your respiration for slower more rhythmic breathing and is helpful for treating panic attacks. Research studies show that Ylang Ylang oil stimulates the Central Nervous Systems and helps alleviate depression.

SPIKENARD (Nardostachys jatamansi) - A tranquilizer and relative of the Valerian family Narde has the most powerful sedative action in aromatherapy and often recommended for easing anxiety and stress. Spikenard's relaxing properties calms your nerves and helps you to feel more grounded and in control. Narde has been used to treat mental disorders, as well as calm agitated mental states and promote mental awareness. Spikenard's regulating action may be helpful for balancing extreme mental and emotional states, including depression, rage, confusion, hysteria, grief, loss, terror and panic. Try Narde in a blend or alone to treat restless sleep, chronic insomnia and tension.

CLARY SAGE ( Salvia sclarea ) - Clary Sage can have a deeply soothing effect on nervous tension in both men and women. A stimulating, regenerative and revitalizing oil Clary Sage is excellent for treating nervousness, weakness, fear and depression. Clary Sage stimulates lucid dreaming and clear insight through your intuition and promotes long lasting tranquility, warmth and aliveness. For some people Clary Sage has an especially hypnotic effect on the mind and emotions producing very tranquil and peaceful states.



GERMAN CHAMOMILE ( Matricaria recutita ) - One of the most powerful anti-inflammatories in aromatherapy. The high Azulene content in German Chamomile gives it a gorgeous shade of deep blue, as well as its highly regarded anti-inflammatory and fever reducing properties. An analgesic (pain reliever) and an antispasmodic (calms nerves) German Chamomile stimulates the production of red blood cells and is known to relieve a variety of aches and pains. German Chamomile is an excellent sleep aid and helpful for treating insomnia, sleep disturbances and night fears!

Story behind how SleepEzz came to be for sale as a PurePlant Essentials Organic Aromatherapy Product: When my son, Ezra, whose nickname is EZ, went off to college he had a very difficult time calming down at the end of his very busy and exciting day. He was over stimulated by all the newness of campus life, and excited by all the information and opportunities his senses were flooded with everyday. In response to his need for sleep I formulated an aromatherapy blend for insomnia to aid his going to sleep. It worked for him, so I started offering it to family and friends, and then to  customers who needed help with getting a good night's rest. All the reports are positive and favorable for SleepEzz's lovely and peaceful aroma and its effectiveness for inducing sleep. I often use it myself at night just because I love its comforting and peaceful scent.

SleepEzz is also available in a ready-to-use dilution of pure light coconut oils for inhalation, as well as skin application.

*A NOTE ABOUT CARRIER OILS: I highly recommend Pure Light Coconut oil as the ideal carrier oil for essential oils. Coconut oil is fully metabolized by the body and, unlike most oils, not absorbed into the fatty cells and tissues of the body, making it an ideal carrier for essential oils to move through the fat cells beneath the dermis and into the blood vessels serving muscles, etc. As well Pure Light Coconut oil remains liquid at room temperature and, because of its light consistency, will not clog skin pores, making it suitable to use on sensitive or problem skin.

CAUTION: As Clary Sage can make some people feel exceedingly woozy and faint please avoid using it with alcohol, or when driving or needing to focus. Because of its hormonal effects avoid Clary Sage during pregnancy, or when nursing unless under the direct supervision of a qualified professional aromatherapist. German Chamomile is a blue oil and can stain, so take care!
