~ KG'S BIO ~ KG Stiles is a native of coastal North Carolina, USA. She was introduced to archetypal psychology while completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy & Religion at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and traveled to the Jung Institute, in Zurich, Switzerland, as a student in 1976. After working as a social worker for a short time KG was introduced to the “transformational” healing arts while visiting the Findhorn Community in Northern Scotland.
In 1979
KG
relocated to San Diego, California where she continued her training
and practice in Mind Body Therapies. KG completed diploma coursework
at
Mueller College of Holistic Studies,
and an internship in Ida Rolf’s 10-sessions of structural
integration at the
Institute for Psycho-structural Balancing,
and was influenced by some of the world’s foremost pioneers in the
Consciousness and Energy Healing Movement, people like
Anthony
Robbins (NLP), Milton Trager
and
Marianne Williamson.
A Specialist in the field of Aromatherapy and Energy Healing and a Licensed and Accredited Mind Body Therapist and Health Educator for more than 30 years, KG is the owner of Springhill Wellness Center in Ashland, Oregon, and the Founder and Director of PurePlant Essentials, an organic aromatherapy fair trade company. KG specializes in formulating aromatic remedies for healthy living. Her essential oil formulations include blends for colds and flu, insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, menopause, anti-aging, skin care, the chakras and more. KG gives presentations at conferences, professional schools of massage and bodywork, hospitals and health care centers, and for corporate clients. All presentations include time for questions and answers, and many can be delivered in an extended workshop format: half-day, full-day, or weekend program. Most include Powerpoint visuals. As a consultant KG has help develop programs of aromatherapy, energy healing, massage and bodywork for individual clients, the spa industry, resorts, schools and health clubs, health clinics and hospitals. She is on the Ashland Community Hospital Board for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). KG’s client success stories are widely publicized and her articles about aromatherapy and alternative health are published in hundreds of online publications, as well as appear in industry trade magazines like Massage Therapy Journal, Massage Today, Aromatherapy Today (Australia) and NAHA Aromatherapy Journal. KG holds state massage licensure in Oregon #2313 and Hawaii #6351, and National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). With the advent of MindBody Medicine current research shows that energetic blockage is the genesis for all physical problems and disease. These energetic blockages manifest as conditions of imbalance, including: back, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, arthritis, Fibromyalgia, allergies, depression, anxiety and panic disorders to name just a few of the common, modern day maladies.
