This Week’s General Astrology Forecast
The week starts off on a serious note as the Capricorn moon conjuncts Pluto (the planet of regeneration and the great detective of the zodiac) is moving to square off with Uranus in Aries one final time.
The closest they will come is 4º orb at the time of the 7º Capricorn New Moon on December 29th. There is a collective exhale! This a stellar New Moon for ending 2016 and signals a new beginning in the area of your life where Pluto in Capricorn has been stationed since late January 2008.
Harmonious Relations Blossom
The harmonic sextile between Jupiter and Saturn begins to build throughout November and into December.
The last sextile of Jupiter and Saturn was in late 2003 through 2004 when Saturn was in Cancer and Pluto was in Virgo. Think back to what occurred during that time period as you’re going to experience those kinds of life altering opportunities once again.
I’ll give more dates when Jupiter and Saturn formed easy, as well as tense aspects and you can trace what was happening in your own life and get a feel for how these two social trend setters of the zodiac have affected your life.
The last harmonic between Saturn and Jupiter was in 2008 when Jupiter was in Capricorn trine to Saturn in Virgo. Remember the housing bubble crash and the failure of the world banking system?

On November 5th the waxing crescent Moon catches up to Pluto (15°Capricorn 19′) illuminating the shadow or places you have judged and denied within yourself. All judgment is self judgment. From a metaphysical perspective there is only one of us here; one life force manifest through a multiplicity of worlds. What judgments are you holding within deep hidden recesses of your mind that need to be purged?
On November 6th. The waxing crescent Moon catches up to Mars (27°Capricorn 56′) before entering Aquarius at 6:55 am. We are now at cross-quarter when the Sun reaches 15 Scorpio later today. The ancient Celts worked with this 3-day cross-quarter window of time when the veil between the spirit and manifest world are thinnest for divination.
The thinning of the veil between worlds was thought to assist you in looking into the future. Now you can consciously discern the pattern unfolding for the coming year and align with it. Go within and seek guidance.
On November 7th the rising Sun aligns with the cross-quarter points a 15º 10’. Often confused with Halloween the time the ancient Celts celebrated as Samhain is an astronomical phenomenon. The Celts celebrated Samhain when the sun reached the 15º 10’ of Scorpio.
On November 7th the Sun at 15º is sextile Pluto in Capricorn. The sextile energy always represents opportunity. This is a day when the powerful energy of Pluto is available. You may have the will power and necessary drive to move mountains. A power house day when you can accomplish a great deal. It’s time to move forward! The moon also forms nice aspects to Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus. This can be a day when you may well get signs of things to come.
On November 8th Mars moves in Aquarius until December 19th, the same day Mercury stations retrograde. Mars was exalted in Capricorn. Your masculine drive to take action has been steady during the past few weeks (unless you have personal aspects that in some way diminish your Martian energy?).
Now Mars your drive for action moves into Aquarius where it is fluid. The Uranian charged air energy conducts the fiery energy of Mars in an electric way. You can feel sudden bursts of impulse to take action. Rapid progress can be made now, especially since Mars in Aquarius is in such harmonious aspect to the Jupiter and Saturn sextile and Uranus in Aries (ruled by Mars) constellating now!
November 8th is Election Day in the US. Expect a good turn out by voters with brisk activity at the polls. There may be a few surprises!
On November 11th Venus enters Capricorn until the 7th of December when she enters Aquarius. Capricorn is not Venus, the party girl’s, favorite place to hang out. However, it’s a great placement for getting down and serious in work-related matters. Venus will love putting on a Louis Feraud designer suit and strutting her stuff. It’s time to get down to fulfilling some serious work objectives. Also, Capricorn is trine to Taurus ruled by Venus, so there’s a love for doing business with a certain style and glamour that Venus is famous for.
Jupiter and Saturn – Social Trend Setters!
I promised I’d share a few dates for when Jupiter and Saturn were making harmonious, as well as tense aspects. What was happening in your life and in your social sphere and on the world stage during these times?
Late 2003 through 2004 – Jupiter in Virgo sextile Saturn in Cancer (opportunities for advancements in society). The last long lasting sextile until now. More than 12 years ago!
2005 – Jupiter in Libra was square (tension, conflict, stop and go development) Saturn in Cancer most of the year. Big promises with little return!
Late summer 2005 Jupiter in Libra sextile (opportunity for expansion and growth that can be long standing) Saturn in Leo to late October 2005. This was a short lived rebound of energy that may or may not have resulted in anything of long standing merit.
Late 2005 Jupiter in Scorpio square (tension, conflict, excess) Saturn in Leo to late November 2006. There may have been strife and struggle to make progress during this time!
November 2006 Jupiter in Sagittarius trine (tendency to take things for granted, tendency to careless and presumptuous attitude) Saturn in Leo.
September 2007 Jupiter in Sagittarius square (conflict, can be over reach, great expectations with little or no return) to Saturn in Virgo.
End December 2007 Jupiter in Capricorn trine (tendency to think the good times will last forever, take too much for granted) Saturn in Virgo through 2008.
Most of 2009 Jupiter in Aquarius was quincunx (very irritating, misunderstandings may result, rampant miscommunication possible) to Saturn in Libra.
There you have a few dates in the past that will give you a window on Jupiter and Saturn as social trend setters. Hope you’ll connect the dots on a few things that may have been happening in your life and how Saturn and Jupiter played a part.
The sextile forming between Jupiter in Libra and Saturn in Sagittarius is rare and I foresee some promising developments with more harmonious relationships happening in the social sphere. There can be an opening and joining of the mind and heart for new pioneering global ventures and working together towards common goals.
Recognizing yourself as a global citizen (even using this terminology) may well become a universal trend!

VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions. Aromatic scents like Galbanum and Vetiver help stabilize the emotions, as well Bergamot, Spikenard and Sandalwood.
These are great periods for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon periods are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.

On November 6th we have a 4 hour Void of Course Moon from 1:56am PT to 5:55am PT when the Capricorn Moon enters the sign of Aquarius.
On November 8th we have an 8 hour Void of Course Moon from 5:55am PT to 1:45ppm PT on the same day when the Aquarius Moon enters the sign of Pisces.
On November 10th we have a 2 1/2 hour Void of Course Moon from 3:16pm PT to 5:45pm PT on the same day when the Pisces Moon moves into the sign of Aries.
