As you know the primary stumbling blocks to healing are at the non-conscious level. Thanks to recent brain research we now know that certain parts of the brain gather information, and other parts drive yours perceptions and behavior. The science of Neuro Reconditioning and Association is the single most important factor behind why you are “stuck” at whatever level you are experiencing.

The non-conscious part of your brain is responsible for about 85% of your achieving goals in life. Thus your non-conscious brain is your power center. It will give you everything you program into it. Achieving goals happens when the right information is impressed and loaded into your non-conscious brain. Yours habits of mind cause you to do and see only that which supports your internal beliefs that you currently have. Our internal neural pathways seek out patterns and information that match up in our environment. We only see what we’re conditioned to see. You are programmed to stay in certain comfort zones of behavior which operate automatically like a thermostatic control. You must reset your automatic control mechanism to get different outcomes in your experience. For lasting personal and planetary transformation of consciousness to occur we must become “unconsciously” competent in our behaviors.

The Dalai Lama recently asked a group of visitors whether they thought loving on the planet is increasing or staying the same. His own response was, “My experience leads me to believe that love is increasing.” He shared a practice with the group that will increase loving and compassion in the world, and asked everyone attending to go home and share the following practice with as many people as possible.

~ Spend 5 minutes at the beginning of each day remembering we all want the same thing, to be happy and loved, and we are all connected.

~ Spend 5 minutes cherishing yourself and others. Let go of judgments.

~ Breathe in cherishing yourself, and breathe out cherishing others. If the faces of the people you are having difficulty with appear, cherish them as well.

~ During the day extend that attitude to everyone you meet – we are all the same, and I cherish myself and you.

~ Stay in the practice, no matter what happens.
