New Moon Eclipse

HEALTH MASTERY EZINE™ – NEW MOON ECLIPSE

Aloha and welcome! The heavens are highlighted with two stellar eclipses in August, a New Moon Eclipse at 9° Leo happens on Friday, August 1st at 3:13am PDT, and a Full Moon Eclipse at 24° Aquarius on Saturday August 16th at 2:16pm PDT. It’s a time of BIG and far reaching realizations and changes for many of us! Look at your personal chart to locate the area of your life being affected. Click to find out the exact time in you part of the world.

Eclipses are when the New and Full moons are more perfectly placed in their alignment to the Sun. Notice the golden Sun is on the Left, the blue Earth is in the middle, and the dark Moon is on the right. The First Eclipse taking place on August 1st is a New Moon Eclipse which means that if you took the Moon in the picture above and switched it with the Earth, you’d see that the Moon will cover the Sun, blocking its light, and making it dark during mid day. Our friends in the British Isles will have a chance to see it around 8:30am GMT.

As with all New Moons you may feel darker or depressed and serious as the New Moon approaches. This New Moon returns you to a cycle that was nearly identical in August 1989. If you can recall that year, you may get a feel for the energies at play in your life right now. If something big transpired for you that year then something of a similar tone and theme is in store for you this year. A New Moon Eclipse in Leo is about finding your inner Father. The kind, gentle masculine spirit that supports you no matter what you do. Your inner father voice is closely related to your ideal of masculine love and support. It’s time to support yourself through this cycle of change. So take a moment to promise to support your choices and decisions no matter what the outcomes. It’s a way to reassure yourself that you can create without fear. This is the New Moon where you are preparing to take risks—risks that will change your life forever!
