A BIG WARM HUG for Valentine and Happy Chinese New Year of the Metal Tiger to You, and welcome to all my New Subscribers! In the year of the Metal Tiger there can be much transition and change with instability that can be tough at times, though your spirituality in 2010 bears much fruit and allows you to remain positive so that any difficulties seem inconsequential. During the year of the Metal Tiger aim at fulfilling your most cherished dreams for they have every chance of being successful despite challenges and perceived difficulties. Stay positive, laugh often with friends and family, and keep faith in yourself and your life path. These are your keys for success and happiness in the Chinese Year of the Metal Tiger. Know that you are always loved, guided, and protected. And so it is!
Our first aromatherapy certification training at Ashland Community Hospital was a huge success. The hospital is now incorporating aromatherapy in all of its departments, including hospice care with the Docs blessings, I might add. And I lived to see it! When I moved to Ashland, OR from San Diego, more than 25 years ago now, people thought I worked on cars when I told them I was a Bodyworker. Now there are probably more healing arts practitioners in Ashland per capita than anywhere in the U.S. Incredible what can happen!

Featured in this issue is my CBS show about Color Healing on Transform and Heal Your Life. Also in this issue I’ve made a few astrological updates. The upcomig New Moon on Saturday, February 13th is conjunct the planet Neptune which is a soul mate aspect and portends of an opportunity for a new start that is like a dream come true in the area where the New Moon, and Neptune are holding hands. Look for my New Moon in Aquarius Meditation to help you make the most of this wonderful opportunity for renewed clarity and a fresh new start.
Finally I’d like to invite you to join Jonathan Goldman, myself, and thousands of others for the 8th Annual World Sound Healing Day at 12 noon Eastern, to send a sonic valentine to Mother Earth, by sounding “AH” for 5 minutes with the “AH” filled with the energy of peace and love. Jonathan and I want you to know that if you can’t join us at the 12 noon event, please know that on Feb. 14th, anytime, anywhere (wherever you are, whatever time it is), that you can simply take at least 5 minutes out of your day and project the heart sound “AH” filled with Light & Love to Mother Earth as a Sonic Valentine for Global Harmonization. If possible, please gather with others in a group to collectively tone together for this event. Jonathan will be my guest on March 16th for a live Sound Healing show on CBS Radio.
In closing I’d like to say Happy Birthday to my Dad, David! His birthday is tomorrow, the 12th. Last night during the middle of the night I heard my computer come on in my office adjacent to my bedroom. This has never happened before, and you really have to press hard to start-up this particular computer. When I went to cut it off I strongly felt my Dad’s presence, and recalled his birthday. He had come to say hi, and let me know he was looking after me! Very sweet, thank you Dad. I love you, and appreciate your watching over me!!

Mercury in Aquarius on Wednesday, February 10th at 1:06am through March 2nd. Mercury rules the mind, and thoughts; the way you connect the dots, and in Aquarius ruled by eccentric Uranus you’ll be thinking differently about things. You may get wild, out of the box ideas, and having unusual, visionary imaginings. Great if you’re needing to change the way you think about things!
Venus in Pisces on Thursday, February 11th at 4:10am through March 7th. Romance is in the air, and you’ll notice the sweetness in life! Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, is the higher octave of Venus; love elevated to the higher spiritual realms, or Spiritual love. Your feelings will soften, and you’ll experience more sensitive and tender emotions.
New Moon at 25° Aquarius on Saturday, February 13th at 6:51pm Pacific. This new moon is occurring in a close conjunction with Neptune which is a soul mate aspect and wonderful for romance. Look for where the Aquarian New Moon is located in your chart to know which area of your life will be highlighted.

Sun in Pisces at 10:36am Pacific on Thursday, February 18th, heralds a time of optimism and enthusiasm for life. This is a great time to focus on spiritual development, meditation, romance, dance, music, poetry and the fine arts.
Mars Retrograde from December 20th at 19° Leo until March 10th when it Stations Direct at 0° Leo. Missed opportunities may resurface, or people from our past may return. This is time to review, revise your plan for better outcomes with things associated with the house where Leo is located.
Saturn Retrograde at 4° Libra on Wednesday, January 13th at 7:58am until May 30th. You’ll have an opportunity to review all that has taken place since the fall, and create something substantial for yourself in the process.
Saturn at 4° Libra square Pluto at 4° Capricorn This square is active through most of 2010. The 3rd exact square occurs on Saturday, August 21st when Saturn Direct at 2° Libra squares Pluto Retrograde at 2° Capricorn. This square indicates a conflict between the two forces represented in our psyche as Saturn (authority, established structures, responsibility, maturity) and Pluto (regeneration, transformation and healing). Squares feel tense and high pressured and represent opportunities for breakthrough, and can result in complete break down of old structures that are not longer viable and in need of dissolution and transformation, like the caterpillar transforming into the butterfly which is the death of the old form and its rebirth into a entirely new form. So this is a powerfully transformative astrological cycle we are currently in!!
Jupiter in Pisces on Sunday, January 17th highlights a year full of optimism, idealism, and spiritual pursuits; there is also potential for confusion, and disillusionment in the area where Jupiter is located. Contemplation, meditation, and spiritual studies are favored. Good luck and beneficial outcomes in the area where Jupiter is located over the next year are possible.
