The week starts off on a volatile square pattern between Mars at 21º Capricorn and Uranus in Aries that leads to the Scorpio New Moon on October 30th.
The Scorpio New Moon is an especially potent day of new beginning as it coincides with the Festival of Lights and the Day of the Dead celebrations.

Astro Energy Report Highlights
On October 28th Mars at 21º Capricorn squares Uranus in Aries. This can represent a breakdown or sudden conflict that can potentially free your energy for more fruitful pursuits. If something isn’t working out as you had hoped then let go and see what new and unexpected vistas can open for you.
On October 29th Venus at 14º Sagittarius conjuncts Saturn. Something pleasurable and fun can come into form that puts you in the driver’s seat. This conjunction between Venus conjunct Saturn is trine to Uranus which adds a fresh and fun electrical charge to this entire week. Venus will perfect her trine to Uranus on November 4th, more about that in a minute.
On October 30th we have the 7º Scorpio New Moon at 10:38am PT. The Scorpio New Moon is conjunct the Sun (as always signifying a birth/seed point) and Mercury (your intellect). The three celestial bodies are trine to Neptune in Pisces.
Today, is also the Festival of Lights and ushers in the Day of the Dead celebration which ends on All Saints Day on November 1st. The veil between the spirit and material worlds are said to be thinnest now, making it easier to commune with your departed loved ones. It is a time of remembrance and honoring of one’s ancestors.
It’s very rare that all these days of celebration coincide and at exact same time as the Scorpio new moon, the sign of death and rebirth. This is an especially potent time of new beginnings, so make the most of it.

Mercury in Scorpio is trine to Neptune (representing the spirit world) and within orb of sextile to Pluto. Mercury is still within orb of conjunction to the Sun.
The Sun at 9º Scorpio will exactly trine Neptune in Pisces on November 1st.

VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions. Aromatic scents like Galbanum and Vetiver help stabilize the emotions, as well Bergamot, Spikenard and Sandalwood.
These are great periods for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods.
