This Week’s General Astrology Forecast
The week can start off on a tense note, if you haven’t managed to break through the tension resulting from the Saturn in Sagittarius Square Chiron in Pisces.
These are both mutable signs and it is Christmas and Pisces is especially known for its compassionate nature, so let’s hope you get the breakthrough available and are wearing your crown of victory, not a crown of thorns.
Saturn, the planet of authority, is Trine to Uranus (the awakener) in Aries which pressures you to strike out and gain your freedom. These composite aspects seem to say stand in your power, claim your authority over your life and be wiling to graciously adjust to changing circumstances.
This is a week for cultivating excellence and taking action to realize your dreams!
HOW are you doing?
For those of you with any planets, especially personal planets, between 20-22º (or within 1-2º orb of these degrees) your week will be the most filled with magical events and happenings. Potentially a VERY auspicious and active week for everyone!!
BEST MONEY DAY this week is Christmas Day, December 25th. These are days when the collective celestial events bring greater than usual opportunities. This may not translate into direct and immediate cash in your pocket, but potential for increase in your future prospects. Of course when these days are talking harmoniously with your personal stars the increase multiplies exponentially.

On December 24th Saturn at 20º Sagittarius Trines Uranus in Aries.
Saturn is also exactly Square to Chiron in Pisces. Chiron represents how you were originally psychologically or emotionally wounded. Saturn is claiming your authority over any psychological or emotional wound, taking your power back. The Square can represent a need to sacrifice/breakthrough your original wounding in order to mature.
At this same time Jupiter in Libra exactly Sextiles Saturn. Again we have the theme of breaking through psychological blocks. With Saturn there’s usually some sort of maturation that needs to take place. It looks like if you’re willing to do the work of inner discovery and stay with what’s presenting itself you’ll receive any help needed in almost miraculous ways.
On December 25th Venus at 20º Aquarius is Sextile to Saturn and Uranus and Trine to Jupiter. Something you love can suddenly manifest now! Not only that, what manifests can be lasting. You may be savoring the pleasures this day brings far into the future.
On December 26th Jupiter exactly opposes Uranus. This same day Mercury Sextiles Neptune. The oppositions always bring illumination of what has been hidden, denied or repressed. There can be a sudden revelation and awakening that sets you free. Your mind (Mercury) in Sextile to Neptune the planet of fantasy and dreams brings opportunities for realizing your dreams. Now that you can imagine it you can make it real.
On December 27th the Sun at 6º Capricorn Sextiles Mars in Pisces which is within orb of conjunction to Neptune. Opportunities arrive for taking action to realize your dreams.
On December 28th the 8º Capricorn Sun and New Moon exact at 10:53pm PST Conjunct the planet Mercury now Retrograde. All of them form a Sextile to Mars in Pisces about to conjunct Neptune. The same theme continues at the Capricorn New Moon opportunities for taking action and realizing your dreams.
On December 29th Uranus Stations Direct at 20º Aries, releasing pressure. There is fast forward movement on tap as a surge of energy catapults you into your future. Delays and impediments to forward movement in many areas of your life are a thing of the past.
On December 30th the Sun at 9º Capricorn Sextiles Neptune in Pisces. Again we have opportunities for you to realize your dreams.
Smokey Quartz is the power gemstone for the Capricorn New Moon. We’re on the threshold of the 2017 New Year. How things go now is an indication for how the year ahead will unfold for you. Smokey Quartz is a grounding stone and will neutralize any negative energy that may surface from your unconscious if you’re doing any shadow work now. Let it come up, purge and release it into the earth. A sea salt bath using the essential oils that have a stabilizing and harmonizing effect on the emotions can be helpful. Aromatic scents like Galbanum, Vetiver, Bergamot, Spikenard and Ylang Ylang III.
THIS WEEK’S VOID OF COURSE MOON PERIODS
The moon represents your emotional needs. Your emotions fluctuate with the moon as it moves through its 28-day cycle around the zodiac from new moon to full and back to new. Notice how the moon’s placement in the zodiac affects your mood and emotions. Essential oils can help stabilize your mind and emotions. Generally earthy scents have the most harmonizing and stabilizing effects on the emotions.
These are great periods for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. Doing things that helps with this natural process are especially helpful now, i.e. relaxation, yoga, movement, hot baths with sea salts and essential oils, focused breathing.
Void of Course Moon periods are not good for starting new projects, or launching new ventures, or having meetings (if you want to achieve anything), or signing contracts and making agreements as it’s less likely anything will come of any agreement, or it will be sluggish and slow to start.
For your New and Full Moon Rituals make sure the Moon is not Void of Course and in aspect to another celestial body when doing your ritual for best results.
