Week’s Astro Energy Highlights

On July 30th the fireworks subside a bit from last week’s Uranus station retrograde. As Mercury heads into Leo and your mind becomes a bit more self absorbed and focused on having more fun, romance and frivolity. It’s a great time to go on holiday, start a creative project, or get pregnant!
On August 1st the Sun at 9º Leo trines Saturn in Sagittarius which bodes well for creating/birthing a stable new structure or form at the tomorrow’s Leo New Moon.
On August 2nd we have the 10º 58’ Leo New Moon exact at 1:44pm PT. The Leo New Moon is conjunct the Sun (of course) and Trine to Saturn and the pair are in a loose elemental fire Trine with Uranus in Aries as Mars the ruler of Aries heads into Sagittarius today. Mars will conjunct Saturn within a week’s time after the Aquarius Full Moon Lunar Eclipse which gives energy to sustain what you birth now.

Over the next few weeks as Venus travels through Virgo is an excellent time to do a cleanse or detox, or start an exercise or new health regimen, especially when Mercury and Venus conjunct again on the 28th and 29th of August. As Mercury stations retrograde in Virgo on the 30th this can herald a re-commitment to a health routine or habit when you get back into an exercise routine or pick up where you left off on a previous health initiative or project.

Void of Course Moon Periods
These are great periods for taking it easy and going with the flow of events and completing projects. During Void of Course Moons your emotional body is going through a period of processing and integrating your recent experiences. You naturally clear out your emotions during these periods. On August 1st at 5:44pm PT we have a 30 minute Void of Course Moon when the Cancer Moon goes Void Course until it enters the sign Leo at 6:12pm PT. The 10º 58’ Leo New Moon is exact on August 2nd at 1:44pm PT.
On August 3rd the Leo New Moon goes Void of Course at 9:13pm PT for 3 hours until it enters Virgo at :34am PT.
On August 5th we have our final Void of Course when the Virgo Moon goes Void of Course for 13 hours from 8:20pm PT until 9:57am PT on August 6th.
