With today’s 16º 41’ Taurus New Moon your focus over the next two weeks will be on creating new pleasurable pursuits, things that make your heart sing. If the New Moon is within 1-2º orb of a personal planet, especially in a prominent position of your chart that’s in conversation with another personal planet then the energy will play out until the next new moon in Gemini in June and even over the next six months until the Taurus full moon this November.
I’ll give you a quick glimpse of the Astro Energies constellating in August, November and December that is being activated now.
Astro Energy Highlights this Week:
On May 6th we have the Taurus New Moon exact at 12:29pm PT. The New Moon goes void of course at 7:10pm today, so set your new moon intentions before then or wait until the moon enters chatty Gemini at 9:34am PT. As Mercury is still retrograde the sign Gemini is more changeable than usual, so…if you miss the Taurus New Moon…well… the astro weather is good again for setting your New Moon intentions when the moon enters Cancer on May 9th at 12:24am PT about an hour after the planet of good fortune Jupiter stations Direct at 13º Virgo.
The Taurus New Moon is conjunct the planet of love, Venus, and the planet of communication/connection, Mercury Rx, and sextile the planet of faith and dreams, Neptune, trine to the planet of good fortune, Jupiter, in Virgo and the planet of power and transformation, Pluto, still digging up skeletons for transcendence in Capricorn. In other words forming a manifesting Grand Earth Trine and a Kite pattern to boot with Neptune/Chiron at the head and Jupiter about to station direct at the tail. Something BIG is about to take off off and manifest in the world for you especially if you have personal planets within 1 or 2º of the 16º Taurus New Moon (predominantly) and secondarily the earth signs of Virgo, Capricorn or Pisces.
On May 9th Jupiter stations direct at 13º Virgo. Venus at 11º Taurus exactly sextiles Neptune in Pisces. If things have felt stalled in the house where Jupiter is located are now set to move forward for you. This is a good day for manifesting and the flow of material abundance!
Earth trines with the Sun, Venus and Mercury to Jupiter and Pluto are happening over this entire week from the Taurus New Moon through May 13th when Mercury Retrograde at 17º Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn.
At the Leo quarter waxing moon on May 12th Mercury retrograde conjuncts Venus and trines Pluto at 17º Capricorn. There are important happenings afoot though with Mercury being retrograde there are a few surprises set to happen before the culmination of what may be birthed at the time with the Mercury conjunct Venus.
Mercury and Venus will meet again on August 28th at 28º Virgo. At the same time that Mars will conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius and square Neptune at 10º Pisces. During this same time also Jupiter at 24º Virgo will be inconjunct/quincux Uranus in Aries. This is a breaking down of dreams that are not realistic or grounded. Squares often represent change that strengthens and helps you to realize your dreams. Time to get real!
Jupiter now in Libra since September is set to square Pluto (the Transformer) at 15º Capricorn in late November and oppose Uranus (the Awakener) at 20º Aries around Christmas time in December. Jupiter expands whatever it touches. Look to the houses where these planets are located to see where the action is happening for you.
Pay attention to what occurs right now as it will unfold and play itself out over the coming months for you. Choices made now will have far reaching consequences into the future. Be focused and mindful.
