HARVEST FULL MOON MEDITATION
by KG Stiles HARVEST FULL MOON AT 11:10 PM (PDT) ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 3RD AT 11° ARIES Nature's time of celebrating her harvest! This also the time when nature plants her seeds into the earth for her time of renewal, and new growth in the Spring. The fall harvest season is when all of nature's children put away some of their bounty from harvesting into Winter stores for nourishment through the Winter season. Look for where the Harvest Moon is occurring in your Astro Chart to find out where in your life you'll be making your biggest harvest, and return on your investment of energy. This is also where you may realize that you have some things you need to let go of. Letting go of things that are no longer serving you, clutter clearing, will help open the way for your planting new seeds of intention at the next new moon, two weeks from now. The Harvest Moon is also a time to celebrate all that you have to be grateful for! Review your list of intentions that you planted at the previous New Moon and nourished with your love and tender care. Give thanks for all that you've accomplished during the past 2 weeks. The Full Moon is a wonderful time to review your many gifts and accomplishments, remembering to give thanks for the blessings of your life, and your life experiences. What you focus on creates your beliefs, and your beliefs and actions over time manifest as your reality. At the Harvest Moon let go of anything that no longer works for you. The diminishing electro-magnetic pull of the waning moon naturally serves to help you to let go of anything. Let go of any struggles with yourself, or with your life situation, be willing to let it all go! Clutter clearing within and without renews your Soul, and clears the way for you to re-connect with your natural state of well-being.
A white candle Calm your mind and sit quietly. There is nothing you need do at this moment but be present with your self. Within all of us there is a sacred space. Now is the time to go within to your sacred space and be still. Light your white candle and focus on the flame. Remember that the light you see is a reflection of the light within you.Review your list of Intentions from the previous New Moon. Give thanks for all that you have accomplished, and for all that you have to be grateful for at this present moment! Now write your list of all that you wish to let go of on paper. Allow yourself to write down everything that does not work for you, as well as any feelings you have about anything that does not work for you, let it all flow onto the paper. Let it flow, let it go!After you have taken time writing your list of what you desire to release completely, fold your paper, and say aloud:
God/Goddess and all that is, As you end your meditation, surrender the struggles, and burdens you've written down on a piece of paper into the flames of a living fire. Jungian analyst, and mentor, Marion Woodman PhD, uses a Chinese Wok for her ritual burnings. You are burning your old ways, habit patterns and beliefs, that no longer work for you to make room for the planting of new seeds at the next New Moon. Your life is a beautiful and wondrous journey; celebrate it as often as possible. After completing your Harvest Meditation you may feel inspired to take some action. If so listen to your wise heart and take action immediately! Please feel free to share this Harvest Moon ritual with a friend by sending them a link to this page! Thanks for joining me! Yours in health,
